Uygar Kilic

 

 

I am a leading behavioural economics and social media marketing consultant with more than 8.5 year’s experience in academia and business. I have achieved successful results with more than twenty seven clients {From startups to million-pound enterprises}.

I have been a blogger since December, 2009 {My personal blog deals with cars & life}. I was picked-up by Pinterest head office to took part as an influencer pinner during the Pinterest UK launch campaign {#PinItForwardUK}.

The GQ China May 2015 issue featured an interview with me for my blogging experience and how I started.

Before becoming a freelancer, I published an MSc Research thesis on why people talk about brands {University of Birmingham}. The findings established the foundations of my services and provided an analytical in-depth view of consumers decisions.

What is Behavioural Economics?

 

Everyday we make many decisions, do we really make the right decision each time?

Behavioural economics is the combination of human psychology and economics studies. Explains why we make irrational decisions with rational reasons.

We make decisions based on problems, solutions and rewards. When you apply this process to your business, you discover your 'unseen' potential customers.

We buy products, we like Facebook pages, we follow Instagram accounts. It is important to analyse and understand our decision making process in order to change our behaviour.

Think & Understand

Decode the decision making process and understand how to change it.

I start by understanding your business and your products. Why should people buy them? What type of problems do you solve?

Then, I analyse your target audience. What are their problems? What are their goals? What do they like? Connect the dots to create a picture of your target audience with its range of different personas.

Creative

I develop a creative concept to connect with your target audience and deliver your messages. I identify which behavioural economics tactics should be used and decide how it will be implemented with the creative work.

Then, I focus on content {copywriting and visuals}. Each such content should be based on an assumption and make people stop scrolling or stop walking if advertising outdoors.

Execute & Analyse

Launching the content on social media channels and analysing the results. I revise and optimise the content and the strategy to ensure better results. It is an on-going process to discover the unseen potential of your business.

Paid Social Campaigns {PPC}

Social media platforms run on an ad-based business model. Therefore, I have to market the content I have created. This means using the advertising platforms of social media channels.

Bear in mind that "85% of advertisements never work". Consequently, I use behavioural economics to create ads that work!

I use optimum methods to market your content and to connect with the right audience for your business so that you achieve your goals.
